My name is Dana Horesh, I'm 28
I was born in the north of Israel, in a town called Karmiel.
My father is Druze, and my mother is Jewish, quite a rare combination in the Israelite scenery.
However, I must say I never felt different. Before my army service I joined a Nahal group in Kibbutz Sde Boker, an experience that shaped the person that I am today. During my service, I volunteered as a peer-support leader in a Bedouin school in the Negev, and in an absorption centre for new Ethiopian Olim.
Very soon I will complete my degree in social work, which will take me into a career I see as my life goal.
