My Israel is through its smells - The smell of rain in Jerusalem and the smell of the sea in Tel Aviv. The smell of cigarettes at the clubs and incense in churches.
The smell of Friday's cooking – Challot in the bakeries of Meha Shearim, the hot Hummus in Abu-Gush and Cuba soup at the market.
The smell of the flowers blossoming at the Negev and the smell of the Judean Mountains pine trees.
